For Plan Year 2021
If you are enrolled in a plan on the Federal Marketplace (HealthCare.gov) and you have questions about your 2021 plan, or need to report income or household changes, you should contact HealthCare.gov or call 1-800-318-2596.
Certain changes may qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period, allowing you to change plans for the rest of 2021 or sign up for new coverage that will last until the end of this year.
Reported changes may also affect the savings and coverage options you qualify for.
For Plan Year 2022
If you want coverage beginning January 1, 2022, you must sign up for kynect health coverage during Open Enrollment (November 1, 2021 through January 15, 2022).
If you have existing coverage through the Federal Marketplace (HealthCare.gov) and your plan is offered in 2022, you may be automatically enrolled for next year.
If you currently do not have coverage, you may apply and enroll by visiting kynect.ky.gov or by calling 1-855-459-6328.

The Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange is a Division within the Office of Health Data and Analytics with the primary responsibility to administer the provisions of the Affordable Care Act for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange provides support and resources for Kentuckians to enroll in health coverage and learn what health insurance and other programs they may be eligible for. Within every county in the Commonwealth, KHBE provides access through insurance agents or kynectors who can help complete applications and find affordable, quality health coverage including Qualified Health Plans or Medicaid coverage.
