The Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) oversees the implementation of provisions related to private health insurance and the state health insurance exchanges. The KHBE staff has been assigned a CCIIO project officer to provide direct assistance for grant activities and implementation of the exchange.
